On a rare Sunday wedding on September 4, 2016, AWB took the stage at Emory Hotel and Conference Center for the wedding of Brad and Holly Adler.  From the beginning, Brad and Holly were an absolute pleasure to work with and we sincerely appreciate them for having us!  Atlanta Wedding Band’s own Nate Sexton and Seth Watters performed the ceremony with the classics, “Canon in D” by Pachelbel, “Wedding March” by Mendelssohn, and “Bridal Chorus” by Wagner, with a special sing along encore of Pharrell’s “Happy” that led all of Brad and Holly’s closest friends and family through campus to the cocktail hour, dinner, and reception.

The reception was performed by John Thrasher on guitar and vocals, Rosalie Suarez on vocals, Nate Sexton on guitar and Vocals, Seth Watters on bass and vocals, and Travis Jones on drums and vocals.  Brad and Holly’s first dances included hits from Johnny Swim and Heartland’s “I Loved Her First”.  The reception was played to a rocking dance floor!  Notable artists covered included Don McLean, The Eagles (Take it Easy), Daft Punk (Get Lucky), Michael Jackson (The Way You Make Me Feel), Marvin Gaye (Let’s Get it On, How Sweet It Is), Ed Sheeran (Thinking Out Loud), Florida Georgia Line (Cruise), Justin Bieber, Tom Petty (Mary Jane’s Last Dance), Katy Perry (Roar), The Cure (Just Like Heaven),  The Temptations (Ain’t Too Proud to Beg), Bruno Mars (Marry You), Walk the Moon (Shut Up and Dance), Ben E King (Stand By Me), Van Morrison (Brown Eyed Girl) and many more!

AWB would like to thank everyone from Emory Hotel and Conference Center, particularly their awesome event manager, Mr. Del Meredith.  This has been the third wedding Atlanta Wedding Band has had the pleasure to perform there!  And of course, Brad and Holly Adler for having us!  Until next time folks, thanks for keeping up!

Very Sincerely,

John Thrasher (Atlanta Wedding Band, Manager, Founder)
