On Saturday March 19, 2016, Atlanta Wedding Band traveled to downtown Atlanta to The Wimbish House (what an awesome venue! Please email Karin Holben, karin@thewimbishhouse.com for booking details), for the wedding of Haley and Kendall Jackson. Haley and Kendall were so helpful and great to work with and looked absolutely stunning! Atlanta Wedding Band’s own multi-instrumentalist Nate Sexton performed the ceremony on a beautiful grand piano in The Wimbish’ main ballroom. Songs performed included “Holy Spirit” by BatIstelli, “Marry Me” by Train, “1,000” Years by Christina Perri, “You Are So Beautiful” by Joe Cocker, and “Make You Feel My Love” by Bob Dylan.
Guests were then escorted upstairs for cocktail hour where Nate performed the second part of his triple duty, playing familiar jazz classics on the upstairs grand piano.
Then it was time for the grand entrance of the bridal party and the new happy couple! Kendall and Haley chose “Love Will Be Enough for Us” by Dave Barnes as their first dance sung by John Thrasher, “Never Alone” by Lady Antebellum for the mother son dance, sung by AWB’s Marshall Coats, and the Temptations classic, “My Girl” for Haley and her father’s dance, sung again by Nate Sexton.
When it came time for the reception, this crew was READY TO DANCE! Here was the setlist for the reception for Haley and Kendall below.
