Atlanta Wedding Band hit the road to the picturesque Inn at Serenbe for the wedding of the fantastic couple, Dennis and Hope Sabo. AWB rolled with a 6 piece which included Nate Sexton on Keys/Vocals, Marshall Coats on Electric Guitar/Vocals, John Thrasher on Acoustic Guitar/Vocals, Seth Watters on Bass, Casey Crogan on Drums, and newcomer Kelly Winn on vocals. This was one of the most energetic, rowdy audiences we've had the pleasure to perform for this year. Marissa and Stephen McRae Rehearsal Dinner!
Atlanta Wedding Band was solo acoustic (John Thrasher), for the rehearsal dinner of the fantastic couple, Marissa and Stephen McRae. A heavy dose of the Killers (Stephen's favorite band) was on the menu as friends and family gathered to prepare for the big day at Summerour Studio the following day. It was a pleasant surprise to see my friend, Katie Ferguson, of Kate and Campbell Creative Weddings and Events, planning the festivities! From personal experience working with Katie, they always do an awesome job and are a pleasure to work with! Thanks Marissa and Stephen for a great evening! John
Jared and Nicole Smith wedding on Lake Oconee!
This weekend, Atlanta Wedding Band had the distinct pleasure of performing our first traditional Jewish wedding for the fantastic Jared and Nicole Smith! The reception took place inside the gorgeous Waterside Restaurant at Cuscowilla Golf Club on picturesque Lake Oconee. For the ceremony, Jared and Nicole selected "Marry Me" by Train for the bridal party and parents' entrance, "When the Stars Go blue" by Ryan Adams for Nicole's entrance, and "Marry You" by Bruno Mars for their exit. Atlanta Wedding Band's own Ken Lambert played a gorgeous violin, accompanied by AWB's Stefan Cashwell on classical acoustic guitar.
