Since this original post was published, the Atlanta Wedding Band has grown into the Southeast’s highest-rated live music collective. While our website and look may evolve, our mission remains exactly the same: keeping your dance floor packed from the first dance to the final encore.
As of 2026, our tight-knit group of professional musicians has performed at over 1,700 weddings and private events since 2012. We continue to offer completely customizable 1-to-12 piece band packages, an ever-expanding repertoire of over 900 songs, and the same transparent, all-inclusive pricing that couples have trusted for over a decade.

Welcome to the new Atlanta Wedding Band website. The Atlanta Wedding Band (formerly John Thrasher Band) has performed over 100 weddings since the beginning of 2010. We offer every genre of music for your event and you can even customize your own set list down to the last song (from the cover list on this site), and will learn up to 10 songs not on the list, free of charge, all of this at a very affordable rate!
