On the 30th of April, 2016, Atlanta Wedding Band hit the road to the beautifully picturesque Wolf Mountain Vineyards for the wedding of the fantastic and stunning Cristine and Rette Rankin! This was our 3rd time playing Wolf Mountain and it is always a pleasure for me and the guys to get out of town to this gorgeous property.
For their first dance as bride and groom, Rette and Cristine selected the timeless classic, “Someone Like You” – Van Morrison. For their joint dances with their parents, they went with another oldie but a goodie, “What a Wonderful World” – Louis Armstrong.
From the first chord struck of the opening reception song, to the last, this crew was ready to party! Some songs that highlighted the night included, “Wake Me Up” – Avicii, “Wagon Wheel” – Old Crow medicine Show, “September” – Earth, Wind and Fire, “Old Time Rock and Roll” – Bob Seger, “Hold on Loosely” – .38 Special, “Livin on a Prayer” – Bon Jovi, “Ice Ice Baby” – Vanilla Ice, and many more. Our highlight of the night was watching Rette, groom for the evening, do a full split on the final song of the night!
These two were an absolute pleasure to work with and look forward to keeping up with them in the future. Until next time!
