Good Evening!
After the “I Do’s” have been shared, and our happy couples depart the ceremony space amidst rousing applause from their closest friends and family, it is the job of your wedding band or DJ to keep the energy up before everyone floods the dance floor. We recognize the importance of this hour or two during cocktails, heavy horderves, light horderves, or sit down dinner. Whether it be a solo violinist roaming the room to dazzle guests with classical snippets, the perfect pandora station, a tailored spotify playlist carefully chosen by bride and groom (with over 100 Pandora channels streaming, together we can find the perfect station to provide the ambience needed), a classical acoustic guitar duo, or the full band performing jazzy standards, we will make sure your loved ones are tastefully entertained before the main event begins. We also will arrive in plenty of time to have our multiple PA’s stationed at the venue so there is no energy lost throughout the evening.
All of these details are decided in our carefully constructed “pre wedding-day” questionnaire, which will be filled out around a month before game time. Other items from that questionnaire include; genre preferences, band preferences, specific song preferences, bouquet and garter toss song selection, first dance and ceremony song selection, etc.
And if there are toasts to be given during this time, we allow full access to the band’s microphones in the staging area. We will also lay down a recording of those toasts to give to our couples as a nice memento from the evening.
We like to have a plan for every minute that you have employed us. Because we respect and value the trust you are placing with us on one of the biggest days of your lives.
