On Saturday November 25th, 2017, AWB hit the road to a familiar destination, Dahlonega, GA (White Oaks Barn) for the wedding of Tyler Reaves and Keegan Turcotte.
On a crisp fall afternoon, Atlanta Wedding Band’s own Jeff Spirko (Violin) and Nathan Sexton (Acoustic Guitar) performed a beautiful outdoor ceremony on the property of White Oaks Barn. This dynamic duo performed the following classical numbers
Seating of Mothers – Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring (Johann Bach)
Bridal Party – Trumpet Voluntary (Jeremiah Clarke)
Bridal Entrance – Canon in D (Johann Pachelbel)
Bride and Groom Exit (Processionsal) – Wedding March
After the ceremony Keegan and Tyler’s closest friends and family returned to White Oak’s own beautiful barn location for the cocktail hour, dinner and reception.
Atlanta Wedding Band’s highly talented 4-piece band were in play the evening with Nathan Sexton on keys, bass, and vocals, Jeff Spirko on guitar, violin, and vocals, John Thrasher on guitar and vocals, and Travis Jones on drums and vocals.
For the first dances, Keegan and Tyler created a beautiful moment with Brad Paisley’s smash hit “Then” (“Now you’re my whole life, now you’re my whole world. I just can’t believe, the way I feel about you girl.”), great stuff!
Tyler and her dad, Mr. David Reaves, danced to Sam Cooke’s classic number, “Nothing Can Change This Love” (“If I go a million miles away, I’d write a letter each and every day.”).
And finally for Keegan and his mom’s dance, they chose the early 2000’s Rascal Flatts hit “My Wish” (“I hope the days go easy and the moments pass slow, and each road leads you where you wanna go.”).
When it came time for reception, Tyler and Keegan’s closest loved ones flooded the dance floor and Atlanta Wedding Band kept up with the following roof raising setlist.
