Kathryn and Mike Farrell Wedding, Emory Conference Center
Hola AWB Fans! On 4/16/16, AWB took the short trip to Emory Hotel and Conference Center for the nuptials of the fantastic Mike and Kathryn Farrell. The evening before, AWB's John Thrasher played solo acoustic for Mike and Kathryn's rehearsal dinner at the Historic Dekalb Courthouse in Downtown Decatur, GA. Toasts and laughs abounded while John covered some of Mike and Kathryn's favorite acoustic songs throughout this awesome evening. AWB performed the reception for Mike and Kathryn to a crowd of about 150 of their closest friends and family. The dance floor was hopping! Seth Watters, Nate Sexton, Travis Jones, and John Thrasher headed North on a windy, blustery, unseasonably cold afternoon to Lake Seed, GA for the wedding of the fabulous April and Richard Roscher. This was our first time playing the Lake Seed area, what a beautiful part of the state! Good day! Last Saturday, on an absolutely gorgeous spring afternoon, AWB traveled to The Solarium in Oakhurst - Decatur, GA, for the wedding of the delightful Kacie and David Flanagan. With a gentle breeze blowing, the lawn of the Solarium was packed with Kacie and David's loved ones as AWB's own Brad Jackson and Seth Watters performed a classical acoustic guitar duo for an absolutely beautiful ceremony. On Saturday March 19, 2016, Atlanta Wedding Band traveled to downtown Atlanta to The Wimbish House (what an awesome venue! Please email Karin Holben, karin@thewimbishhouse.com for booking details), for the wedding of Haley and Kendall Jackson. Haley and Kendall were so helpful and great to work with and looked absolutely stunning! Atlanta Wedding Band's own multi-instrumentalist Nate Sexton performed the ceremony on a beautiful grand piano in The Wimbish' main ballroom. Songs performed included "Holy Spirit" by BatIstelli, "Marry Me" by Train, "1,000" Years by Christina Perri, "You Are So Beautiful" by Joe Cocker, and "Make You Feel My Love" by Bob Dylan.
