On February 18, 2017, the Peach Barn in Tifton, GA was the site of the wedding reception of our fantastic couple, Stephen and Stephanie Benda.  Atlanta Wedding Band brought down a dynamic 4-piece line up which included John Thrasher on guitar and vocals, Marshall Coats on Guitar and Vocals, Seth Watters on Bass and Vocals, and Travis Jones on drums and vocals.

Stephanie and Stephen’s first dance was the very cool and heart warming Ben Rector B-Side, “Forever Like That”.  Then Stephanie and her father danced to Ben E King’s classic, “Stand By Me”.

After a delicious catered dinner, 300+ of Stephen and Stephanie’s closest friends and family literally flooded the dance floor from the opening of set 1, until the final encore of the night.  Stephanie told us later that there were additional tables that had to be moved because everyone was dancing!  It always makes our job much easier when all of the wedding guests come primed and ready to get down!

Some notable covers from the night included the following; “Shape of You” by Ed Sheeran, “Wagon Wheel” by Old Crow Medicine Show, “Ignition” by R. Kelly, “Fat Bottomed Girls” by Queen, “Beast of Burden” by the Rolling Stones, “The Joker” by Steve Miller Band, “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks, “What I Got” and “Santeria” by Sublime, “Jesse’s Girl” by Rick Springfield, “Want to Want Me” by Jason Derulo, “Purple Rain” by Prince, “Living on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi, “Semi Charmed Life” by Third Eye Blind, and to conclude the night, AWB performed a familiar encore of “Don’t Stop Believin'” (insert 150 fist pumps!).

The wedding party was so hyped that AWB’s own John Thrasher stuck around to DJ for an extra hour which was a ton of fun!

AWB would like to thank Stephen and Stephanie Benda for having us, we hope that we cross paths again soon!

Very Sincerely

John Thrasher (Atlanta Wedding Band)
