On July 8, 2017, Atlanta Wedding Band hit the road for Dothan, Alabama for the wedding of Brandon and Laurel Tidmore!  AWB had cocktail hour, dinner, and reception duties for the newly minted Tidmores to a crowd of Brandon and Laurel’s closest friends and family.

With Travis Jones on Drums and Vocals, Marshall Coats on Lead Guitar and Vocals, John Thrasher on rhythm guitar and vocals, and Seth Watters on bass and vocals, AWB had an awesome lineup to celebrate Brandon and Laurel’s recent union.

The first dances for the evening kicked off the evening with some moving, beautiful moments.  Brandon and Laurel danced to “Yours” by Russell Dickerson, Brandon danced with his mom to “Boy” by Lee Brice, and then Laurel danced with her dad to “Stay as Sweet as You Are” by Nat King Cole.

Then the guests ate a delicious locally catered meal and were ready for the dance floor!

Some notable songs from the reception, live full band, dancing portion of the evening included; “Stand by Me” by Ben E King, “Hey Ya” by Outkast, “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks, “Into the Mystic” by Van Morrison, “American Girl” by Tom Petty, “You Are the Best Thing” by Ray LaMontagne, “Marry You” by Bruno Mars, “Sweet Home Alabama” by Lynyrd Skynyrd (How Fitting!), “Dust on the Bottle by David Lee Murphy, “Forever Like That” by Ben Rector (a very special request for Brandon and Laurel!), “Dixieland Delight” by Alabama, “Hit Me Baby One More Time” by Britney Spears, “Don’t Stop Believin” by Journey, “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson, to name a few.

Atlanta Wedding Band would like to sincerely thank Brandon and Laurel Tidmore for having us play your special day, as well as their parents.  We had an amazing time!  Until next time folks!

Very Sincerely,

John Thrasher (Atlanta Wedding Band)
